AGE RESTRICTIONS: Children 3 and over require a valid ticket for admission. Children 2 and under do not require a ticket for admission provided they are seated on an adults lap.
AISLES: Standing or sitting in aisles or stairs is prohibited. Guests will be asked to keep aisles and stairs clear and return to their seats.
ALCOHOL: Alcohol sales in the general seating areas of Rio Tinto Stadium will end at the 75 minute mark for Real Salt Lake games. Alcohol sale end times will vary for other stadium events. Guests must be 21 years of age or older to purchase alcohol. Guests should be prepared to show proper identification to verify age before purchasing alcohol.
ANIMALS: Guide, signal, and service dogs are permitted inside Rio Tinto Stadium with fans that need their assistance. No pets or other animals are permitted.
ATMs: There are 3 ATMs inside Rio Tinto Stadium. Section 3 on the east concourse; section 18 & 22 on the west concourse.
BABY CHANGING STATIONS: All men’s and women’s restrooms at Rio Tinto Stadium are equipped with baby changing stations.
BAGS/BAG SEARCH: All bags and backpacks are subject to inspection prior to entering the stadium.
BANNERS AND SIGNS: Banners and signs are encouraged provided they are not commercial, offensive, or in poor taste. All banners and signs are subject to approval of content and message. Banners may not obstruct the view of any guests, stadium signage, or present any safety hazards.
BICYCLE PARKING: There are bike racks located on the north side of the stadium next to the Team Store.
BOTTLES, CANS, COOLERS: Fans are allowed to bring in an empty water bottle to fill at drinking fountains. All other bottles, cans, or coolers are not allowed into Rio Tinto Stadium.
BOX OFFICE: Rio Tinto Stadium has two box offices, one on the West and one on the East side of the stadium. Either box office can help you Monday-Friday with your ticket needs. Box office hours are from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday, and during all scheduled stadium events. The Box Office accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and cash. Event day hours for the Box Office will vary.
BUDWEISER CLUB REAL: Fans with tickets for Ledge Boxes 1 – 9 have access to the Bud Club Real located on the southwest corner of the stadium. Any guest with a ticket can make reservations to sit in the Budweiser Club Real on a first come, first serve basis. Reservations can be made by calling 801-727-2747. Please enter Rio Tinto Stadium through the west entrance doors and proceed to level 2. Ticket holders for this section may enter 90 minutes prior to kick-off. All Zions Bank Club Seat ticket holders are allowed access into the Budweiser Club Real at the conclusion of each Real Salt Lake match. Opening and closing times of the Budweiser Club are subject to change. Access into the Budweiser Club may vary for special events.
CAMERA POLICY: Fans may bring personal, still-photo cameras to capture the special moments from their visit to Rio Tinto Stadium. However, video cameras, monos/tripods and professional cameras/lens are not permitted inside the stadium.
CARNIVAL REAL: Located on the lawn on the east side of the stadium, Carnival Real opens 2 hours before every RSL game. Carnival features live music/djs, free giveaways, mini-games, and other festival activities.
CATERING: Picture perfect events require a picture perfect location. The private event space at Rio Tinto Stadium offers a variety of options. Whether you’re interested in a pre-game dining experience, corporate meeting, wedding reception or company event, Levy Restaurants and Rio Tinto Stadium can make your events come to life. CELLULAR PHONES: Cell phones are welcome inside Rio Tinto Stadium. Fans are reminded, however, to make sure that their cell phone conversations are not disruptive to the others seated around them. Free WIFI is available throughout Rio Tinto Stadium.
CHILDREN: Children 3 and over require a valid ticket for admission. Children 2 and under do not require a ticket for admission provided they are seated on an adults lap. If you lose your child during an event at Rio Tinto Stadium, please locate the nearest guest services staff member.
CLUB SEATS: 904 seats, located at mid-field on the west side of the stadium, surround the team tunnel where the players enter and leave the field. Three different levels of club seats exist, varying based on proximity to the field. VIP parking and access to the Budweiser Stadium Club are high level amenities offered as a benefit to a club ticket purchaser.

DESIGNATED DRIVER PROGRAM: For the tenth consecutive year, TEAM Coalition and Major League Soccer are supporting the Designated Driver programs at all MLS stadiums during the 2014 season with a special incentive. Every stadium offers fans a designated driver program. Fans who register to be a designated driver pledge to not drink alcohol, drive their friends and family home safely, and ensure that everyone always buckles up.
At the end of the season, one Designated Driver from each MLS club will be randomly selected as the Designated Driver for the Season representing that club. The Designated Drivers for the Season representing clubs that compete in MLS Cup 2014™ will receive two (2) tickets to the game, roundtrip airfare and hotel accommodations. Fans can register at the Maverik Adventure concession stand on the northeast corner of the stadium. Fans that register/pledge receive a free fountain drink.

DRINKING FOUNTAINS: There are multiple drinking fountains throughout Rio Tinto Stadium.
ELEVATORS: There are three public elevators at Rio Tinto Stadium. Two on west side, and 1 on the east side.

EVACUATION PROCEDURES: Being prepared in an emergency is one of the most important things to remember. Familiarize yourself with the closest exit or emergency exit in your area. Families or groups should pre-designate a meeting location outside the stadium in the event that they become separated in an evacuation. If you have any questions about the nearest exit locations, please ask one of our Guest Services Staff Members for assistance. Always remember to remain calm and follow the instructions of the staff and public address announcements. For everyone’s safety please evacuate your area in an orderly manner.

FAMILY RESTROOMS: There are two family restrooms that are intended only for the use of parents with small children and fans with disabilities. All family restrooms are outfitted with baby changing stations and are ADA compliant. The family restrooms are located on the east concourse near sections 5 and 34.
FAMILY SECTION: Section 24 is the designated family section. There is no alcohol allowed in this section.

FIRST AID: Rio Tinto Stadium has a First Aid Room available to assist fans throughout each event. It is located on the northeast corner of the stadium.
FOOD AND BEVERAGE: Fans are not allowed to bring any food or beverage items inside Rio Tinto Stadium other than those served by Levy Restaurants, the official concessionaire for the facility. We ask that fans either leave these items inside their vehicles or dispose of them at the security checkpoint before entering the stadium. The only exceptions are food and beverage items for infants two years of age or younger.
GATES: Budweiser Club Real opens 90 minutes prior to kick-off. All other gates open 75 minutes prior to kick-off.
GUEST SERVICES: The Guest Services Office is located on the northeast concourse.
LOST CHILDREN / ADULTS: Children who are separated from their family or friends may be escorted by a stadium staff member to the Guest Services Office (located on the northeast concourse by sections 35).
LOST & FOUND: During your visit to Rio Tinto Stadium, should you misplace an item or find something that belongs to another fan, please visit the Guest Services Office. Claim forms are available to report missing items. Fans inquiring about lost items should call the stadium at 801-727-2701. Items are held in storage for 30 days and then are donated to a local charity. Real Salt Lake and Rio Tinto Stadium cannot be held responsible for lost or damaged items.
LOST OR STOLEN TICKETS: Lost or stolen tickets can be replaced only under certain conditions. Please contact the Box Office for replacement guidelines.

NOISE-MAKING DEVICES: No plastic horns, No air horns, No whistles (drums, musical instruments, & matracas for example) are permitted.
NURSING MOTHERS: Nursing mothers in need of private accommodations are welcome to use the family restrooms located near sections 5 & 34. If a situation arises where the nursing mother and child experience any difficulties or insensitive treatment, contact a Guest Services Staff Member.
PAGING: The public address system may not be used for paging guests. In the event of a medical emergency or special circumstance, consideration will be given to using a general page.

PASSENGER DROP-OFF: Passengers can be dropped off on the west and north sides of the stadium. Drop-off areas can be accessed via the Stadium Ring Road entrance on 9400 South Street.
POSTPONED/CANCELLED EVENTS: If an event is postponed or cancelled, guests are advised to check the Rio Tinto Stadium and Real Salt Lake websites for further information.

RE-ENTRY POLICY: In accordance with MLS and Real Salt Lake security procedures, fans may not exit and re-enter the stadium using the same ticket. There will be no exceptions for this policy.
RECYCLING: Rio Tinto Stadium encourages all fans to recycle. The recycling program at Rio Tinto Stadium includes: recycling containers on the concourse and in the suites. Please check the signage on the recycling containers to ensure you’re recycling the proper items such as plastic and aluminum. We hope all fans may follow Rio Tinto Stadium’s recycling initiatives during their event day experience!
RESTROOMS: Men’s, women’s, and family restrooms are located throughout Rio Tinto Stadium. All restrooms are ADA compliant.
SHUTTLES: There is a shuttle service that goes from the Sandy City Hall parking lot to the north load zone of the stadium pre and post-game.
SMOKING POLICY: Smoking is allowed in Rio Tinto Stadium only in the designated smoking areas. The designated smoking areas are located outside the northwest & southeast gates. Guests exiting the gates will be permitted re-entry for Smoking. Smoking outside designated areas is not allowed and will not be tolerated. This includes both traditional AND “E-Cigarettes.” E-Cigarettes will not be tolerated inside the stadium.
SOLICITING AND LITERATURE: Guests are prohibited from distributing banners, booklets, business cards, circulars, commercial advertising, flyers, folders, handbills, leaflets, notices, pamphlets, posters, stickers or any other written, printed and/or painted material, without written permission from Rio Tinto Stadium management.
SOUTH STANDS: South goal seats are reserved for Supporter Groups. There is loud chanting, drumming, constant standing, flags, and smoke in the South Goal stands. By purchasing a ticket in this section you recognize and acknowledge that these elements exist in these sections.
STROLLERS: Large strollers can be checked in by the east gate. Small strollers that fold up can be placed under your seat.
SUITES: Rio Tinto Stadium has 32, state of the art, suites, ranging in size from 15 seats to 35 seats. Every suite comes equipped with a Flat Screen TV, comfortable couches and chairs, padded leather seats for event viewing, granite countertops and a refrigerator. Exclusive, VIP parking adjacent to the stadium is included in all suite purchases. TAILGATING: Real Salt Lake operated parking lots permit tailgating but restricts the use of charcoal or open fires. Please help keep the area clean by disposing of garbage.

TRAX: TRAX is the local light-rail train for the Salt Lake area. Numerous UTA TRAX routes service three stations that are all within a 15-minute walk of Rio Tinto Stadium. These include the Historic Sandy Station (at 9000 South and 200 East), the Sandy Expo Station (at 9400 South, behind Jordan Commons) and the Sandy Civic Center Station (at 10000 South, behind Jordan High School). UMBRELLAS: Umbrellas are allowed to be brought in, but may not be opened in seating area - Recommend rain ponchos if needed.
WEAPONS: No weapons of any kind are allowed into Rio Tinto Stadium.
WHEELCHAIRS: Wheelchair seating is available at Rio Tinto Stadium. Please contact the box office for information.
