Rio Tinto Stadium will host the 2014 Varsity Cup National Rugby Collegiate Championship this Saturday at 2:00 p.m. MT. BYU will take on Cal in the Championship match after both teams advanced from the semifinal rounds this past weekend. Saturday's Final will be broadcast live on NBC Sports Network.

A multitude of rugby events will be held in Salt Lake from May 2-3, including the Utah Rugby Open, a two-day high school youth tournament hosted by Utah Youth Rugby featuring over 1,000 youth rugby players from around the country. The culmination of the Utah Rugby Open will be the Boys U-18 Elite Championship match which will be held at Rio Tinto Stadium from 12-1:00 p.m. MT on May 3. RugbyPalooza, a family-friendly youth rugby festival, will be held on May 3 from 8:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. MT at the West Jordan Soccer Complex. The festival will feature rugby clinics, coaching and referee seminars, and food and entertainment.
